2. The short version

This is a purely static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, embeds no advertising networks and contains no contact forms. No profiling takes place. There is no way to register an account, and none is planned.

All fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served directly from this server. Loading a page here makes no request to any third-party server — in particular no external fonts and no embedded video players.

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores data your browser transmits in what are known as server log files. These are typically:

• the page or file requested
• the date and time of the request
• the volume of data transferred and whether the request succeeded
• browser type and version, and the operating system used
• the referrer URL

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The provider processes the data described in section 3 on our behalf, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Processing takes place within the European Union.

5. Links to YouTube

This website links to videos and to the Threads of Time channel on YouTube. These are plain text links only — no YouTube videos are embedded. As long as you do not click such a link, no connection to YouTube is made and no data is transmitted to YouTube. Episode thumbnails shown here are copies stored on this server, not images loaded from YouTube.

If you follow one of these links you leave this website. Data processing on YouTube is then the responsibility of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and their privacy terms apply: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data held about you (Article 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing (Article 21 GDPR). 7. No advertising, no audience measurement

There is no advertising on this website, no affiliate marketing and no audience or conversion measurement. This holds regardless of whether the linked YouTube content is monetised: any revenue would arise on YouTube, not on this site, and no data is collected or passed on from here for advertising purposes.
