What Threads of Time is

Threads of Time tells continuing stories about ordinary life: work, care, repetition — and the quiet decisions that hold a place together. No thrills, no cliffhangers. Stories to stay with, not to click away from.

The series are set in different places and different centuries — ninth-century Ireland, France around 1500, a small Portuguese town in the present day. What connects them is not the period but the tone: told without hurry, close to the people in them.

Every episode stands on its own, runs about 30 to 45 minutes, and is read in a single calm narrating voice — made for evenings, for falling asleep, and for listening alongside something else. New episodes arrive weekly, and every series is free to listen to on YouTube.
